1. What cookies and similar storage are
Cookies are small files that websites may store in your browser. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage, which can remember limited technical information in the browser.
2. Our current use on cbrtravel.gr
As of the date above, the public CBR Travel website does not intentionally use analytics or advertising cookies. We may use strictly necessary technical storage or browser features required for security, form operation, language/navigation behaviour and reliable site functionality. Public booking forms are designed not to retain guest name, email or phone details in browser storage after a successful submission.
3. Administrative tools
The private Site Editor and administration tools may use browser localStorage to save editing preferences or draft administrative changes. This storage is used for administration and is not used to track public visitors for advertising.
4. Third-party services
When you leave cbrtravel.gr to use a third-party service, that service may set its own cookies. This includes CBR Rent a Car on cbr-rentacar.com. Where Stripe Checkout is offered for an excursion payment, Stripe may use necessary cookies or similar technologies on its checkout service for security, fraud prevention and payment processing. Their own policies apply on those services.
5. Cookie categories
| Category | Purpose / current use | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary / technical | Used only when needed to provide, secure or operate the service. | No consent required where legally exempt. |
| Preferences | No general public preference cookies are intentionally deployed at present. | Not currently used. |
| Analytics | No analytics cookies are intentionally deployed at present. | Not currently used. |
| Advertising / marketing | No advertising or marketing cookies are intentionally deployed at present. | Not currently used. |
6. Managing browser storage
You can delete or block cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may affect some website or payment functions. Because we do not currently deploy non-essential analytics or advertising cookies on the public site, there is no marketing-cookie preference profile to manage on cbrtravel.gr at this time.
7. Changes and contact
If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and use an appropriate consent mechanism where required. Questions can be sent to infocbrtravel@cbr.gr.
